Thank-you Larry, O Great One! After two crushed helmets, a shattered molar, broken back cartilage, multiple contusions, and alot of crying, a friend introduced me to Larry Jeffrey of Longview Ranch. He was my last hope to keeping and enjoying my six year old Arab mare, Florence. I bought Florence three years ago. She's a daughter of Monarch, a very winning racing stallion. Coupled with her breeding and her marish ways, she only got hotter between ages three and six. I tried a low protein diet, herbs, hormone therapy, custom fit saddle, change in barn, dressage, and four other trainers to calm her down. Nothing changed her mind and after three years she was still dangerous. Larry took Florence back to the basics. Forget that she already perfected "haunches in", she was never given the building blocks to horse and rider communication. Through lots of consistent ground work and trail lessons, Larry patiently convinced her of a better way to live and taught her and ME the rules of our partnership. Florence now respects my space and accepts my cues. She no longer has reasons to jump and buck while I'm in the saddle. Finally, I feel safe. -Cindy Lee Navigate References
